Event T-shirts have one job that staff T-shirts don’t: they all have to be right, in the right sizes, on one fixed day. A launch, a marathon, a university festival or an awareness drive can’t move because the shirts are late or half of them are the wrong size. This guide is for anyone in Lahore ordering T-shirts for an event or campaign: how to choose the shirt and print, plan sizes for a crowd, and order early enough that the day goes smoothly.
Who orders event and campaign T-shirts
- Runs, walks and sports days: participant shirts, volunteer shirts and race-crew shirts.
- Brand launches and activations: promoters, mall activation teams and giveaway shirts with your campaign line.
- Universities, colleges and societies: festival, orientation, batch and society event shirts.
- Corporate events: annual dinners, family days, conferences and team-building days.
- NGOs and awareness drives: volunteer and campaign shirts that need to be seen in a crowd.
- Concerts, exhibitions and crews: organiser, security and production crew shirts that make staff easy to spot.
Step 1: Choose the right T-shirt for the event
| Event type | What usually works |
| Runs, walks and sports days | Polyester or dri-fit, which stays lighter when people sweat. Full-colour designs can be sublimated. |
| Giveaways and large crowds | Ready-stock cotton round-neck T-shirts, 150–160 GSM, in red, white, black or navy blue. |
| Launches, crews and brand events | Custom-made cotton in your brand colour, 180 GSM or heavier for a more premium feel. |
| Student and society events | Oversized / drop shoulder styles, which people keep wearing after the event. |
A T-shirt people actually wear again keeps advertising your event long after the day. A better fabric and a cleaner design are usually worth more than a bigger print.
Step 2: Choose the print method
| Method | Best for |
| Screen printing | Large quantities with a bold logo of up to 4 colours. Usually the best value on big runs. |
| DTF printing | Full-colour designs, sponsor logos and smaller quantities |
| Vinyl printing | Names, numbers, “STAFF” / “VOLUNTEER” text and reflective details |
| Sublimation | All-over designs on polyester and dri-fit sports shirts |
| Puff printing | Raised 3D logos for society and streetwear-style event shirts |
Not sure which one fits? Read our DTF vs screen printing vs embroidery comparison, or send your design and we will recommend one.
Step 3: Plan the design for a crowd
- Keep the back readable from a distance. Event name, date or campaign line on the back, up to about 10 × 10 inches.
- Logo on the front chest, about 3 × 3 inches, or a sponsor logo on the sleeve.
- Use colour to separate roles. For example, one colour for participants, another for volunteers and another for organisers, all with the same design.
- Don’t crowd it with sponsors. Too many logos makes a shirt nobody wears again. Group sponsors in one area, such as the lower back.
- Send sharp files. A PDF or PNG of each logo prints far better than a screenshot.
Step 4: Plan sizes for a big group
This is where event orders go wrong most often. Custom printed T-shirts cannot be exchanged for a different size, so:
- Collect sizes at registration if you can, instead of guessing.
- If you can’t collect sizes, base the split on who is attending (students, office staff, a mixed public crowd) and send us your headcount so we can talk it through.
- Add spares in the most common sizes for late registrations and volunteers.
- Check the T-shirt size chart before you confirm. Ready-stock sizes run from S to 4XL.
Step 5: Work back from your event date
Every order is quoted with its own production timing, which depends on the quantity, fabric and print method. The safest plan is to work backwards from your event day:
- Finalise the design and sponsor logos first.
- Approve the mockup and size list.
- Leave time for a sample if colour or fabric matters.
- Plan the delivery and distribution day before the event, not on the morning.
Talk to us as soon as your event date is fixed, even if the design isn’t ready, so you know exactly how much time you have.
Quantities and budget
- Ready-stock T-shirts can be printed from a single piece, so small crews and samples are no problem.
- Custom-made T-shirts in your own colour and fabric are possible from a single piece at a higher cost per piece, and become much more economical from around 10 to 15 pieces.
- The price per piece goes down as the quantity goes up, so ordering participants, volunteers and crew together usually costs less than separate orders.
